bistro

Our food is as inspirational as our wine list,
with dishes ranging from a classic filet mignon to local seafood.

A delightful selection of small plates rounds out our menu.

The food is consistently excellent - imaginative combinations based heavily on local products. The service is attentive, friendly and the staff either knows their stuff or will graciously find out the answer for you.

The atmosphere is casual-adult. Suits and dresses mix with jeans and fleece. The wine/beer list is among the best in town and the bar is very good. If you are looking for a relaxed, pleasant evening, you can’t do better in town. During these COVID times, Crush offers a very good “order online- take and bake” menu that we use frequently. They’ve been supplementing their inside tables with heated, outdoor service that is surprisingly comfortable even in near-freezing weather. Restaurants, especially small, locally owned ones, are having a tough time during these COVID days. I’d urge folks to get out to dine if they can and you can’t go wrong giving Crush a try.

meet the team

Robert DeLucia and Scott Anaya have been close friends for years. They used to go to friend’s houses and drink wine and wish there was a place in Anchorage to hang out and drink good wine. They got tired of complaining and decided to do something about it so they opened Crush in 2008.

It’s been a labor of love, and both of them had to say goodbye to sleep as they added Crush to their already busy work schedules.

Chad Culley joined the team a year later and the Cellar was opened soon after. Their vision is to have a place people can experience good wine and food in a non-pretentious and friendly atmosphere. Reminiscent of their friend’s houses back in the day, but with better service and quite a few more bottles to choose from, Crush is meant to be a comfortable place for all occasions. They want the atmosphere to be nice and chill like they are, while offering guests impeccable service.
