Gamay Soirée AKA Beaujolais Nouveau!

Our Favorite time of year is quickly approaching! (don’t accuse us of being haters, we also love Christmas). But… our favorite-most-favoritest time of year is the release of Beaujolais Nouveau! Is this because we love Beaujolais Nouveau? Of course not! At best, this wine is a simple quaffer, crafted to drink by harvest workers while celebrating the end of harvest in Beaujolais. This overhyped wine, does however, give us an excuse to celebrate one of the most overlooked grapes of the world, Gamay! The wine made from Gamay (especially those from the region of Beaujolais) are delicious and affordable and perfect for weekday drinking, holiday tables or movie theaters… anywhere you may want to drink wine and remember that it is supposed to be fun! Join us in celebration of Gamay and the region of Beaujolais on Wednesday, November 16 from 5pm to close. Reservations are not needed for this event. Tables will be fist come first serve, but there will be plenty of seating and an outdoor winter patio! We’ll have a special menu, an all Beaujolais wine list with four different flights, music by the incomparable DJ Victamone and, yes, the release of Nouveau at 8pm. Join us on the 16th and remind yourself that wine doesn’t always have to be so serious!
